What is Books at Home?

If you have a physical condition that prevents you from coming to the Library or accessing books and materials online, you may be eligible to take advantage of this service.

How Does It Work?

Library staff or volunteers will select materials according to your preferences.  There is a 3-week checkout for books and materials.  Library staff will deliver your books on your area's delivery day once per week.  Books can be returned on your next delivery day.

How Do You Qualify for this Service?

  • You must be an Oceanside resident.
  • You are temporarily or permanently confined to your home due to illness or disability.
  • You are unable to access books or materials online.
  • You have a current Oceanside Public Library card (or are willing to get one).

For more information about Books at Home, call 760-435-5600 and ask for Eillie Keene, or email public.library@oceansideca.org.
