Study Rooms

Study rooms seating up to 4 people are available on the second floor of the Civic Center Library, study rooms seating up to 2 people at the Mission Branch Library, and a study room seating up to 8 people at the John Landes Community Center Library.

• Note that the walls of the Civic Center Library study rooms do not reach the ceiling, and therefore are not private.

• Study rooms can be booked for 2 hours at a time.

• To check on availability or make a reservation, visit Reserve a Room, or call (760) 435-5600, and make sure which Library's room you are reserving.

• Please check in first at the Reference Desk, prior to entering a study room.

Community Rooms

Community Rooms are available for use for a nominal fee by community groups and organizations for civic, educational and cultural events, but not by private parties. Reservation requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance.

• The Civic Center Library Community Room has a capacity of 170 maximum. It is located in the adjacent Library courtyard. Call (760) 435-5560 for more information or questions about the Civic Center Library Community Room.

• The Mission Branch Library Community Room has a capacity of 68 maximum. Call (760) 435-5600 and ask for Mission Branch for more information or questions about the Mission Branch Library Community Room.

• The John Landes Community Room has a capacity of 84 maximum. Call (760) 435-5642 for more information or questions about the John Landes Community Room.
